| A few years ago, there was a company (or maybe just a product line) called "26 Red" selling T-shirts in trendy-type stores. I don't usually go for that stuff, but one day I saw a light blue shirt with a funky little ball-like green guy (think of the smiley green ball on the Douglas Adams "Hitchhiker" books) and the word "aka" in green hiragana. The incongruity alone was enough to get me to buy the shirt. People kept asking me why I had a blue shirt with the Japanese word for "red" written in green. Fun.
