Response to Gaijin morality and married Japanese women

Now this is something that I can understand 100%, through all my time in Japan most of my relationships were with older married women. Though at the same time its almost impossible to explain the reasons it happens, however I'll give it a try.

On the gaijin (male) side it could be due to the fact that the married Japanese woman is more reliable and stable than a dizzy young 19 year old girl. Where the young would expect you to pay for things and take charge, the married woman is more liking to do all of that herself leaving less hassle for you. All you have to do is to go along and use your charm! As for caring about the marrage thing...hmmm...put it like this, when you've got a sexy woman who takes care of you (in more ways than one)wanting to take your relationship one step further, would you actually care that she has a husband who's always working?

One the married woman's side...well she could have always had a fantasy about having a gaijin lover? Maybe she sees it as an exciting escape from her daily routine of cleaning the house/shopping/looking after the kids etc. Not only is she having a forbidden love affair but she's also having it with a gaijin, a total outsider. Perhaps that makes it all the more exciting?

Chances are though that the husband already knows about it before its begun. He's busy working late at the office and comes home too tired, she's getting angry but he doesn't want to go through all the hassle of getting a divorce. Solution? Let her have an affair but on the rule that she returns back to him by the end of the night. It sounds a little weird for the west but I've expereinced it plenty of times in the east. Another thing is that Japanese women seem to marry so young, maybe after a few years they understand that he's not Mr Right, that they got into the marrying game way to early to know any better. They can't divorce so they do the next best thing.....
