Response to pop culture is universally rubbish |
| 'Pop culture'is not meant to sell merchandise as you
stated.
Pop culture is a social function based on popular
tastes in any given time frame. Merchandise 'geared
toward' pop culture sells because it is tapping
in the already established likes and dislikes of a certain demographic.
So basically, what I'm trying to illustrate is
that pop culture controls merchandise, not visa
versa. |
