but for the life of me i still can't understand the whole hostess bar thing. man those women would have to be beyond supermodel good-looking to make it worth the money. i mean, all you do is sit there and chitchat while they hang off your every word. man i (not just me, any decent bloke here) can get that for the price of a few beers at most bars/clubs around the place. but i won't knock it any more until i try it, i am trying to get one of the japanese dudes from my work to shout me sometime. and i sure hope i meet a hostess who speaks english coz my nihongo is basically non-existant.
